le mode de fonctionnement préférentiel est en WIFI (PC éloigné de l'imprimante elle même éloignée de la box).
L'imprimante sur PC LM19 ne fonctionne ni en USB, ni en WIFI et la fonction SCAN ne fonctionne pas.
Pourtant, elle est bien vue/reconnue par LM19 que ce soit via USB ou WIFI mais n'est pas reconnue par Simple Scan ni Xsane, mais le scan est pour ce PC accessoire.

Pour info, je la ping en WIFI sans aucun PB. Le Pb est plus dans CUPS ou JAVA ou la sélection/routage au niveau de la file d'attente d'impression.

Cela ressemble vraiment à un problème de driver. Ou alors, le fait d'être connecté en USB3 n'empêche pas de la reconnaître mais empêche la communication.

Cela peut paraître un peu tordu ce que je vais te proposer mais as-tu la possibilité d'avoir accès à un PC qui a toujours un port USB2. S'il est sous Windows, ou pas, sais-tu installer Virtualbox pour installer LM18.3 (ou LM19 d'ailleurs) et voir si tu réussis à imprimer après avoir installé le driver Lexmark ?

Bonjour squid-f,
Tu as peut être raison sur le pb de driver, car ceux de Lexmark sont du 06/09/2012, un peu vieillots, quant à ceux de LM19, je ne sais pas d'où ils viennent...
Concernant ton idée, pas si tordue que ça, d'utiliser Virtual Box, le seul PC dont je dispose en USB2 est un petit PC Samsung NC10 qui tourne sous Windows XP.
Il a juste 1 Go de mémoire et je suis sûr, car j'avais essayé il y a quelques années, il n'a pas les ressources suffisantes pour faire tourner VirtualBox ou VMWare.
désolé...

Pour mémoire, sur mon PC LM19, j'ai réinstallé W7 en dual boot et donc USB 3 et ça fonctionne parfaitement (USB3-W7-driver Lexmark).
C'est la raison pour laquelle dans mes 1ers posts, je pensai entre autre que LM19 et peut être même LM18 ne gèrait pas 'correctement' l'USB3 ou que la connexion sur ces OS de périfs USB2 en USB3 induisait des PB.
Mais ça se saurait, surtout sur ce forum......et je n'ai rien trouvé sur ce sujet.

Après avoir désintallé puis réinstallé CUPS, je songe de plus en plus à supprimer puis réinstaller LM19 ou alors à me faire prêter une imprimante plus récente de n'importe quelle marque et de l'installer pour voir.
J'en suis là...

Bonjour du jour :)

En fouillant sur le net, j'ai trouvé un article intéressant : https://appuals.com/fix-usb-composite-d ... y-usb-3-0/

Il y a la méthode 2 (brancher l'imprimante sur le port usb qui est identifié comme "charging device" par un symbole en forme d'éclair) et la méthode 6 (activer le Legacy support dans le bios pour les ports USB).

A voir si cela peut t'aider.

Ami du jour et des jours précédents, bonjour.
Je n'avais pas trouvé ce site, je te remercie de me l'avoir fait connaitre.
- pour la méthode 6, je suis déjà en Legacy.
- pour la méthode 2, j'ai mis l'imprimante sur le port USB 'power share' comme ils disent chez DELL=> Rien de plus.
Je suis allé dans le BIOS vérifier le POWER SHARE n'était pas activé, je l'ai activé => Rien de plus.
J'en ai profité pour appliquer la méthode 8: Utiliser un hub USB 2.0 connecté à l'USB3 option POWER SHARE (toujours activée puis désactivée) et connecter l'imprimante dessus le hub => Rien de plus.
Je suis aussi allé sur https://www.openprinting.org/printers/m ... r/Lexmark/ et mon imprimante n'y est même pas répertoriée... :(
Je continue les recherches et les test en essayant d'interprêter les logs (TROUBLESHOOT.txt) ....

bonjour, petite nouveauté qui me tend à penser que le pb est dans CUPS:
en mode WIFI si je tape dans mon browser [url]http://@ip_de_mon_imprimante[/url], j'arrive sur le serveur interne de mon imprimante. Là, je vois sa config, les niveaux d'encre, la versions du microcode, etc....
Donc, au moins la connexion WIFI fonctionne.
Alors voici ma nouvelle question aux experts LINUX: Comment faire pour désinstaller CUPS, toutes ses dépendances et ses fichiers de configuration pour redémarrer un CUPS propre, et puis je au moins le faire?
Car la manip que j'ai faite précédemment n'a pas l'air d'avoir été suffisante.

ne désinstalle pas cups ;)
mais tu peux lire les log d'erreurs qui se trouve dans : /var/log/cups/
si ta config n'est pas bonne essais aussi ( fait un copier coller , commande dangereuse )

bonjour
juste une idée comme ça j'ai eu un PB de connexion wifi pour ma Canon TS91502.
après une belle prise de tête avec la config, j'ai tous simplement débranché et rebranché la box après quelques minutes et tout fonctionne comme prévu.

Bonjour
Merci sandro, ça aussi je l'ai fait et à plusieurs reprises.....
Tout fonctionne 'aux petits oignons' que ça soit en Wifi, en usb, en impressions et en scan, sauf ce poste en LM19, les impressions restent bloquées en queue d'impression, et ça fait bientot 1mois et demi et je ne trouve pas pourquoi.
Ce n'est pas hard, car j'ai monté un W7 sur ce poste en dual boot, et tout fonctionne.
Ce n'est pas l'imprimante, car j'y accède tous les jours depuis W7 ou WXP et j'y accèdait en LM18.3
J'accède aussi au serveur interne de l'imprimante à partir de LM19..
Le pb est apparu de suite aprés avoir connectée mon imprimante sur LM19. Je pense qu'un module CUPS ou autre s'est vérolé, mais comment déterminer lequel....That is the question....
En plus je suis sur un projet qui ne me permets pas de prendre le risque de perdre des données, aussi, j'y vais sur la pointe des pieds, avec obligation de multiples sauvegardes.
